What I have done so far...

 

I was born in Leverkusen near Cologne in 1959.

 

Both primary and secondary school I visited there.

 

One year I served in the German army as a dispatch rider.

 

From 1979 to 1991 I studied Political Economics at the University of Cologne.
I received there both my diploma and my Phd.


In 1986 I studied both in former Leningrad (now St. Petersburg) and in Moscow at the Economic Departments, there I collected the documents for my thesis.

 

From 1992 to 1993 I was a freelance consultant at the Michel Institut in Bamberg on the Soviet Economy. I prepared study documents on economics  for Soviet experts, and I went to Moscow and Alma Ata.

 

From 1993 to 1994 I worked for the Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau both in Frankfurt and Berlin as an expert on Russian economics .

 

In 1995 I worked at Deutsche Bank Research in Frankfurt  as an expert on Russian economics. I wrote reports on the Russian oil industry, and I supported a German Economic Advisor team at Kiew.

 

In 1995/96 I worked for the OSCE Mission to Ukraine in  Crimea as an economic experts, and I wrote ecnomic reports on this region.

 

After that, I changed my professional orientation and learned SAP Materials Management at former Siemens Nixdorf in Düsseldorf.


From 1998 to 2003 I worked for Syseca/Thales in Siegburg as a SAP Consultant both for Materials Management as well as  Sales and Distribution.
Economic highlights were 2 years at SAP in Walldorf as a remote consultant for SD as well as a SD expert for the Waste Management Company at the City of  Cologne.

 

Since 2005 I have been working as a SAP consultant on logistics for T Systems in Bonn. 2017 I changed to Telekom IT, and my actual focus is on Demand Management, using the tool Jira as well as the TM Forum and Open APIs.

 

I am  married with Nina Sagalina since 1992. Together we have our son Michael, who will become 27 years in December 2020.
