| Schömberg in Northern Back Forest near StuttgartIIn August and September 2018 I have been visiting this city for a 6 weeks treatment in a health resort. The treatment was really excellent, former minister on foreign affairs Hans-Dietrich Genscher have been there, as well as the former boxing sportsman Bubi Scholz. About 10 km away from Schömberg there is Calw, the place where the famous writer Hermann Hesse was born. There is a Hermann Hesse museum inside the city, where you can find all facts about the writer*s history. In September there was a festival called Glass Bead Game festival, consisting of three musical evenings. One Saturday there was a film evening, showing the writer's life in Montagnola. The film was made by a retired Italian producer, who took part in the evening event. I had the opportunity to spend much time in Calw and in the Hermann Hesse museum, so I decided to write something on these impressions in this homepage.
The original bookmark looks different, however, this was my personal interpretation. I am a big fan of the Glass Bead Game. My little book has about 916 pages, so this seems to be a real challenge to read to the book. This is an except from Wikipedia: "Playing the game well requires years of hard study of music, mathematics, and cultural history. The game is essentially an abstract synthesis of all arts and sciences. It proceeds by players making deep connections between seemingly unrelated topics." Josef Knecht alias Ludi Magister Josephus III is the hero. This is my feature oft he Glass Bead Game. Each Bead is a single science or capability, they are all united in a kind of super bead, which contains all sciences and capability, that every have existed or will exist. The core is in Russian, as the language of the largest country in the world, the Russian Federation. |
